1: "tunnel vision" is what paintball players refer to when someone is only focussing on one small area or target, totally oblivious to other targets or threats around them.

  * e.g.,  ... that guy got flanked from the left, on account of his tunnel vision.

1: (in terms of introspection): to look through one's soul as if it were a tunnel and see nothing but darkness and despair.

  * e.g.,  ... depression and drug addiction are hard to treat in part because the depressed and the addicted often have tunnel vision when it comes to introspection and think that there is no way out, so much so that they are even afraid to go and ask for appropriate help.

1: a way of seeing, especially in males, when checking out a hot or in rare case large butted individual. To engage tunnel vision is to ignore all other movements, actions, and people in your periphery while only focusing on that sexy individual.

1: restricted vision due to an excess amount of cocaine, ecstasy, or any other drug.

  * e.g.,  ... a- "i just blew an eight-ball in a half hour and i can't see right."

1: When your moving so fast your peripheral vision becomes extremely blurry and you can only see straight ahead.

  * e.g.,  ... "I got to ride in a Z06 yesterday"

1:  What Mr. Happy has (i.e., his "vision" is always focusing on just one thing --- specifically, a gal's "love-tunnel").

  * e.g.,  ... I always slow down a bit and drive extra-carefully through mountain-tubes and other underground traffic-passes, since it's notoriously easy to unwittingly get "tunnel vision" when traversing said claustrophobic motoring-routes.

2:  What the vengeful and intently-gazing-straight-ahead Biff Tannen was experiencing while trying to run down Marty McFly in the underground causeway, and therefore he never noticed Old Man Jones' fertilizer-truck in time to avoid colliding with it --- yet again --- and consequently having himself and his car covered with the truck's messy contents ("MANURE!! I hate MANURE!") a second time, mere hours after having gotten said beloved jalopy back from Terry's garage which had cleaned it out from its previous encounter with said poop-hauler.

1: the loss of peripheral sight, which makes it look like one’s vision is restricted to a narrow tube. It represents an individual focusing solely on one goal and suggests purposeful ignorance of evidence contradicting their pursuit of the goal.

  * e.g.,  ... My mama told me: "Boy, make a decision!"

1: When all of your vision is consumed by one piece or portion of an entire landscape or photo. This is due to the interest in that one aspect of the picture; Common things which cause tunnel vision are both ass and titties.
